Marathon to unite Vadodara’s NGOs with corporate sector

VADODARA: The 9th edition of Vadodara International (VIM) won’t be just for the cause of health. VIM management has decided to work for a social cause by helping the NGOs that have been working since long in the city. The marathon organizers mulling to hold a meeting between the corporate sector and NGOs in December this year. It will be for the first time that a platform will be provided for both NGOs and private companies. “There are many NGOs that are doing good work in different areas of the city. They need donations for working and the corporate sector too keeps aside funds for corporate social responsibility,” said Tejal Amin, chairperson, VIM.
