The examinations of various universities of Gujarat to be conducted in the coming days and examinations of GTU, which were suppose to be started from July 2, 2020, have been postponed.
Disclosing this today, Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said the Education Secretary, Government of India, has issued a guideline to the states explaining that due to present prevalent condition in the country the examinations of the universities should be postponed for the time being.
For maintaining uniformity and synchronization among universities in reference to their examinations, this decision to postpone the examinations of the universities across the country was taken by the Education Department, Government of India, Chudasama said.
He stated that following the Centre’s guidelines, in consultations with Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani, the Gujarat Education Department has taken the decision to postpone the examinations of the GTU and other universities of the state.
The Education Minister added that the examinations will be conducted in the future by giving fresh dates.
