i-Create and Israel’s SNC signed MoU to promote ‘Innovations, Startups’

With an aim to promote innovations and start-ups in technology sector, Ahmedabad city based ‘i-Create International Centre for Technology & Enterprise’ has signed a MoU with ‘The Start-up Nation Central’ (SNC) of Israel, today. The MoU was signed by i-Create’s CEO Anupam Jalot and U. J.  Kandal, CEO, SCN, in the presence of Israel’s ambassador to India, Ron Malka and M. K. Das, Additional Chief  Secretary to Chief Minister  and Additional Chief  Secretary (Industry) at a function held at the i-Create’s campus at Bavla in Ahmedabad district.

Speaking on the occasion, Malka said that, ‘Innovation is a future. And, India and Israel will jointly work in this field. India is a trusted friend of Israel.’ Praising India’s intellectual capacity, he further stated that India is one of the few nations that have landed on the Moon. i-Create’s Chairman and Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister and Additional Chief Secretary (Industry), M. K. Das said  India’s prime minister and Gujarat’s chief minister have given specific emphasis on the  ‘Innovations’ and as a result lots of positive results  have been achieved.

At this stage, referring to the new industrial policy of the Gujarat Government, Das said that the new industrial policy would attract more investments in Gujarat. The ‘innovations’ will enhance the amenities to the people and new innovations will benefit to the citizens of the state. i-Create’s CEO, Anupam Jalot said that the ambassadors of both Israel and India have played a key-role in strengthening the partnership in the ‘Strategic Innovation’ sector. He also mentioned the significant roles played in the setting up of ‘i-Create’ by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gujarat’s Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.

 i-Create is India’s leading ‘Start-up Incubator’, while the SNC is well-known Israeli institution in the field of ‘Innovations’. The event was also graced by Israel’s Consulate General Yaakov Finkelstein. Apart from this, Sanjeev Shingla, Ambassador of India to Israel, Prof. K. Vijayaraghavan, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India and Dr. Amy Apolbum, Chief Scientist of Israel were also present on the occasion by video conference.
