BJP to discuss budget with farmers on ‘Doodh-jalebi’

The state Bharatiya Janata Party will hold a discussion at Pradesh office here on Thursday with farmers on the Aatm Nirbhar budget and apprise them about its salient features of the agriculture sector. The national President of Kisan Morcha Raj Kumar Chahar, Rajya Sabha MP and national Spokesperson Sudhansu Trivedi and state party President Adesh Gupta will be present on the occasion. The programme will be conducted by Pradesh Kisan Morcha president Vinod Sehrawat.

Vinod Sehrawat informed the discussion to be held over ‘doodh-jalebi’ will have representation from all villages of Delhi and added the budget has several schemes for the agriculture sector which will help farmers grow their income further. Whether it is Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, Kisan samman Nidhi or Mitti Zaanch card, crores of farmers are benefiting from these schemes. The government’s aim is to double the farmers’ income and accordingly, there is continuing rise in procurement of the farm produce by the government, he said adding new markets are also being opened towards this goal. Farmers and villages are dear to Modi government and it is doing everything possible for their benefit, he added.
