Kejriwal govt has only tried to stall implementation of Central governments development policies for Delhi-Ramvir Singh Bidhuri

New Delhi

The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party president Adesh Gupta has alleged that the Kejriwal cannot name even one achievement on completion of one year of his government. The fact is Delhi has gone back more on development front during Kejriwal’s tenure. At a joint press conference here on Tuesday along with leader of Opposition in Delhi assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, he said that despite being in power for six years now, Delhiites are still waiting for power, drinking water, wi-fi, electric buses, pollution free environment, clean Yamuna and adequate health service system.

Terming Kejriwal as an unsuccessful chief minister, BJP president Adesh Gupta said though he calls himself secular, the fact is he is indulging in false propaganda for his own political interests. Adesh Gupta wondered while Kejriwal could travel 55 km to donate Rs. one crore to a deceased from a particular community, he is keeping silent on the tragic death of a lord Ram’s devotee Rinku Sharma. He can travel to as far as West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh but can’t go even ten km. to meet the family of the deceased Rinku Sharma. He said while he has time to tweet on Disha Ravi and Nisha Jacob trying to spread violence through toolkit case, he does not care to visit the police and security personnel who were injured during January 26 violence while on duty. what does he want to prove by standing alongside these anti-national forces, he asked?

Adesh Gupta said the Kejriwal government has been involved in a scam involving Rs 26000 crore because of prevailing corruption. Similarly, he has stalled release of Rs. 13000 crore which has affected the release of wages to safai workers, beautification of parks, roads repair and other basic amenities work. The Kejriwal government also did not do much on improving health care system due to which Centre government had to intervene and do the needful, he said adding instead of helping migrant workers, he created panic among them saying corona situation would only worsen and that led to these workers leaving Delhi and walking hundreds and thousands of kilometers to their villages.

Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said whether it is basic facilities, Education, Health or transport department ,Kejriwal government has failed on all fronts. He has failed to fulfill even one of the promises he had made during last six years.  He said new 16000 buses would come, not one has been added, there are 30000 vacant posts for teachers in government schools, but there has been no recruitment. He said Kejriwal had made tall promises on repairing roads, jhuggi jhopri clusters and controlling pollution but has not done anything. He charged instead of implementing the Centre’s policies on jahan jhuggi, wahan makan, or health schemes like Ayushman Bharat, he has only tried to stall them.
