Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will dedicate 33 power sub-stations and will perform bhoomi-pujan of 4 sub-stations under the Mission Earth Programme from Minto Hall on April 3. The total cost of these 37 sub-stations is Rs 1530 crore. The dedication and bhoomi pujan programme will be virtual. Out of the 33 power sub-stations to be dedicated, 17 are of very high pressure.
Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has informed that these power sub-stations will ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to about 19 lakh consumers in 28 districts.
Sub stations at Raaskheda of Shivpuri district, Simrod of Guna, Sobat of Ashoknagar, Bardari and Burana Kheri of Indore, Khirehani Khurd, Gauraha, Nigbani of Jabalpur, Sandook of Narsinghpur, Jasgunwakala of Chhatarpur, Puraina of Panna, Ainthi of Sidhi, Barka of Singrauli, Funga of Anuppur, Paparedi of Shahdol, Sheopur Kala of Sheopur, Ratangarh of Neemuch, Shivgarh of Ratlam, Adampur of Bhopal, Tendukheda of Narsinghpur, Chachauda of Guna, Netrip of Dhar, Gorabazar of Jabalpur, Suthalia of Rajgarh, Rampura of Neemuch, Dindori of Gorakhpur, Silawaya of Barwani, Gyaraspur of Vidisha, Sohagpur of Hoshangabad, Ujjain of Ujjain, Mandsaur of Mandsaur and Myana of Guna distict will be dedicated.
Chief Minister Chouhan will perform bhoomi-pujan for the construction of power sub-stations at Civil Line Khandwa, Dudh Talai, Budhni in Sehore and Dhimarkheda in Katni district.
